This was the first session of the series on ISO 20022 XML (aka MX).The ISO 20022 XML message will soon be the global standard for payments messaging, replacing MT FIN. Although SWIFT has recently extended the deadline for cross-border payments, the end-date to enable full ISO 20022 migration remains as originally planned: November 2025, so the timescale remains challenging. This session focused on the background of the SWIFT MX implementation, explained what Calypso brings to the table and how Calypso can help moving forward.
