Message Matching is the generic process of comparing the details of outgoing and incoming items for a given financial transaction. In the MT54X series matching course, you will learn about ‘matching’ SWIFT security messages. At the completion of the Matching SWIFT Messages course, you will have learned what a SWIFT message is and how to interpret and understand the types of information contained in them. In addition, you will understand how this information is ‘matched’ between an outgoing messages and transfers to incoming SWIFT messages. This course digs deep into: Workflows, Domain Values, Message Setup, Incoming Message Status, and Legal Entity Setup. Furthermore, the settlement process is also explored, for when the incoming message can automatically settle the related transfer.
